Haunted by the experience of violence

Archbishop Roger Herft of Perth Australia grew up in the cultural melting pot of Sri Lanka. During his childhood his positive experience of diversity was tempered with a growing awareness of the bitterness of the ancient disputes in his homeland. One experience, graphically described has haunted him and defined his commitment to inclusion and reconciliation. Further videos will follow over the coming weeks that focus on his ministry in Aoteatoa, New Zealand and Australia and the honour he gives to the indigenous peoples of those lands.
